Nashville Photo Shoot
Well, here we are in the center of Christian music- Nashville, Tennessee- during the busiest week of the year for the industry- GMA, Gospel Music Association week. This is the week when bands, artists, musicians, and all sorts of music-related people descend on downtown Nashville for one week to promote and shake hands with one another until they drop. Smiles and friendly gestures are rehearsed in hotel rooms, hair is primped, outfits are matched and paired to perfection, and meet-and-greets with the public are planned in 15 minute increments for the entirety of the event. Its a dreadful reality of the music business, and I’m glad we aren’t there! We’re here in Tennessee doing a photo shoot for our upcoming record with INO Records releasing this Fall. We even hired a helicopter (Bryan’s idea) to beef up the cool factor. You can see footage here:
I know, I know, it looks pretentious, BUT, its also pretty cool to do a photo shoot with a copter! So ‘A’ Team. Does anyone remember the 80’s TV show Airwolf? How many helicopters went down in flames for that show? It was pre-video editing. They had to claymation Star Wars style. Which, by the way, was light years ahead of its time. My favorite scene was the Hoth battle with the AT-AT Walkers and Luke and Hahn Solo flying the flying ships (forget the name). Pretty sweet.
I digress. So, we are excited to get some new photos out on our web site and to our fans, just to freshen it up a bit for those we love most. And, to hint at things to come, there sill be some BIG changes in the upcoming months to all things CP. You’ll have to check back at least 3 times a day. AT LEAST! And on that note, I’ll sign out.
